Jeans
are a staple for most, but let’s not get stuck in the same old tee – looking
like it’s the weekend and we’re
cleaning out the garage. Bring your jeans
up a notch with a pretty, sophisticated top
and fun, feminine shoes. The freshest way to wear
jeans is when they are tailored for you. When
you find that prefect fitting pair, buy two – then
you will always have a good pair over a longer
time span.
For
a Classic Look: Find
your most chicly fitting straight-leg or bootcut
deep-hued (not light) pair. To add class, wear
a short blazer in a wonderful color over a pretty
blouse or a camisole, jewelry and great
shoes – flats, wedges
or heels.
There are other deep or subtle
colored jeans-cut pants as well, which can also
dress up the typical indigo jeans
look.
A
Comfortable Look: A looser or
wide-leg jean in a lighter color. Add a zing
of color in a windbreaker and
a striped blouse or tank. Suede wedges with
cork heels and a nylon or straw
tote look stylish without being too dressy.
The
Rock ‘n Roll
Attitude: Choose dark jeans and layer with a
vest over a print tee. Add some humor with retro
shades. Patent leather flats or silver slingbacks
and a shiny silver belt buckle that makes a statement
strikes the right chord.
For
the Trendy: Skinny jeans
show off your leg shape
for those with a shapely figure
or trim body. A fuller,
delicate or drapey feminine top, a
lace-trimmed camisole
or a halter neck top counters
the slim silhouette.
A coquettish ankle strap heel or stilettos
are a good choice for
a shoe.
